- The service. The EU VAT & IBAN Validator validates IBANs and EU VAT numbers, returns EU VAT rates and calculates VAT. The Email Validator checks email syntax, mail-server (MX) records and known provider lists; a
valid result means the address can receive mail at domain level, not that the mailbox exists. The web APIs (Article Extractor, Link Preview, Website Contact Extractor, Social Links Finder, Technology Stack Detector) fetch the public pages of the URL or domain you send and return what they find. The other APIs (phone numbers, holidays and business days, QR codes and barcodes, PDF to text) process only what you send. You access them through a marketplace (api.market or RapidAPI). That marketplace's terms cover your subscription, billing, quotas and refunds.
- Information only. Results are provided for information. Disposable-domain and typo checks are heuristics and can be wrong. They are not tax, legal or financial advice. Live VAT checks come from the European Commission's VIES service. VAT rates are maintained by us and dated (
as_of). Keep your own records and confirm important decisions with official sources or an adviser.
- Not official. This API is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the European Commission or any tax authority.
- Availability. We aim for high availability, but we do not guarantee it. VIES or a national registry may be unavailable. In that case the API returns an error (503) instead of a guess.
- Acceptable use. Do not use the API for unlawful purposes. Do not try to get around quotas or authentication, and do not resell raw access as a competing API. Only send personal data you are allowed to process.
- Web content. You are responsible for your use of the content we return, including copyright and the website's own terms. We respect robots.txt, identify our crawler honestly, and do not bypass logins, paywalls or anti-bot challenges; such pages come back with a status explaining why. Do not use the Web Content Extractor or the Website Contact Extractor to overload websites or to collect personal data unlawfully. Our Acceptable Use Policy (published at
/acceptable-use) applies to them and to Text to Speech. Audio from Text to Speech is synthetic; you may use it commercially, but not to impersonate a real person or to deceive listeners.
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is". Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or tax assessments based on API results. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Changes. We may change these terms or the API. We will keep breaking changes to a minimum, and the marketplace listing will show the current version.
- Law. The laws of Morocco apply, without affecting mandatory consumer protection in your country.
- Privacy. See the Privacy Policy.
